Turning Nature into Art where I make beautiful wood bowls and light pendants from salvaged trees I find in Miami, Florida. There are over 180 types of trees growing in Miami, Florida. Trees from all over the world were brought to Miami in the early 1900 by a Botanist named David Fairchild, who opened a botanical garden named for him.
In the last 15 years I have made bowls using over 53 types of trees, with Mahogany being my favorite .
ALL my bowls and light pendants are made from one piece of wood, I never glue wood together.
